This Privacy Policy explains how Panoptix Media ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit Panoptix AI at https://panoptixai.com (the "Site"). By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.
If you have any questions, contact us at hello@panoptix.ai.
Who we are
Panoptix AI is operated by Panoptix Media, based in United States. For the purposes of the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Panoptix Media is the data controller for personal data collected through the Site.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address and the contents of your message. We use this only to reply to you and keep a record of the conversation.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our partners may automatically collect:
- Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, screen size, language)
- Your IP address (which may be truncated or anonymized) and approximate location derived from it
- Pages you view, links you click, referring website and the date and time of your visit
- Cookie identifiers and similar technologies (see below)
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, and we do not sell your personal information for money.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:
- Strictly necessary storage — for example, remembering your cookie choices and your light/dark theme preference. These are stored in your browser's local storage and are not used for tracking.
- Analytics cookies — to understand how visitors use the Site (only with your consent where required).
- Advertising cookies — used by Google and its partners to show and measure ads (only with your consent where required).
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using our cookie banner, and change your choice at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work correctly if you do.
Advertising: Google AdSense
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on this Site.
- Google's use of the DoubleClick cookie and other advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Third-party vendors and ad networks, including Google, may use cookies, web beacons and similar technologies to collect information about your visits to this and other websites in order to provide personalized advertisements about goods and services of interest to you, and to measure ad performance.
- Third-party vendors' cookies are subject to their own privacy policies. We do not have access to or control over cookies used by third-party advertisers.
Opting out of personalized advertising. You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices (US) or www.youronlinechoices.eu (EU). If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
To learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and Google's Advertising policy.
Consent Mode. We use Google Consent Mode v2. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising and analytics storage is denied by default until you give consent through our cookie banner. If you reject cookies, Google may still show non-personalized ads, which use cookies only for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting and combating fraud and abuse.
Analytics: Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site — for example, which pages are popular and how people find us. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, time on page, device type and approximate location. IP addresses are not stored by Google Analytics 4. Where consent is required, analytics runs only after you accept cookies.
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting your data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy.
Affiliate links
Some links on the Site are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies to record that you came from us, so we can earn a commission if you make a purchase. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
Contact form data
Messages sent through our contact form are delivered to our inbox using our email provider, Resend, which processes the data on our behalf. We keep messages for as long as needed to respond and for our records, and no longer than 24 months unless an ongoing matter requires it. We never add you to a mailing list without your explicit permission.
How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate, maintain and improve the Site
- Respond to your messages
- Show advertising and measure its performance
- Understand audience trends through aggregated analytics
- Detect and prevent fraud, spam and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
Legal bases for processing (GDPR)
If you are in the EEA or UK, we process personal data on these legal bases:
- Consent — for analytics and advertising cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings.
- Legitimate interests — to run and secure the Site and to answer your enquiries.
- Legal obligation — where we must keep or disclose information by law.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the EEA or UK, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email hello@panoptix.ai.
Your rights under CCPA/CPRA (California)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and disclose
- Request deletion or correction of your personal information
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights
We do not sell personal information for money. However, allowing advertising cookies may be considered "sharing" under California law. You can opt out by rejecting cookies via Cookie settings, by visiting Google Ads Settings, or by enabling the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser. To make a request, email hello@panoptix.ai. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law.
Data retention and security
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect it, but no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
International transfers
Our service providers (including Google, Vercel and Resend) may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, these transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Third-party links
The Site links to other websites, including the AI tools we review. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
